Reed had his first Doctor's Appointment a week and a half ago. He had gained over a pound from his birth weight (still does not weigh as much as Zachary did at birth) and he had grown an inch (still an inch shorter than Zachary at birth). But he is catching up very rapidly. He is a great eater and a great sleeper. Zachary gets so excited when Reed actually has his eyes open! Zachary is the best big brother ever and we are very proud of how much he loves on his brother and helps out around the house now! The doctor said that Reed is doing very well and is very healthy. He has one eye that does not want to open all the way that the doctor is going to watch very closely, but she feels as though it is just fluid that will eventually go away.
My mother was been in town since before Reed was born and just left last week. So we have been completely on our own. But we are all surviving and settling into a great schedule. I burnt the carrots for dinner last night, because of the phone ringing, baby eating, and another one crying...but if that is our only disaster in a week, I think we are doing pretty well.
We have another doctor's appointment this week and will keep you posted!
